1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using DocStream ("the Portal"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using the Portal.

2. User Access and Account

  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their login credentials for the Portal.
  • Users agree not to share their login information or allow unauthorized access to their accounts.
  • Users are solely responsible for any activity that occurs under their account.

Use of the Portal

The Portal may be used solely for authorized business purposes. Users agree not to engage in any unlawful, harmful, or malicious activities while using the Portal. All documents uploaded to or accessed within the DocStream must adhere to company guidelines on information classification and confidentiality. Users shall not alter, delete or distribute documents without proper authorization. Any modifications to documents must be logged and approval must be obtained from relevant stakeholders where required.

4. Data and Content

Users retain ownership of any data or content they input into the Portal. The Portal administrator may access user data solely for portal maintenance, support, and security purposes.

5. Data Collection and Processing

Caspian Drilling Company Ltd ("CDC") collects personal data from users as necessary for the operation of DocStream to ensure proper portal functionality. User data may be shared with third parties only as permitted under relevant regulatory acts and this policy.

6. Data Correction

Data corrections must be finalized within 24 hours of their creation. If this timeframe is not met, users are required to submit a correction form.

7. User Responsibilitiesg

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their usernames and passwords for accessing DocStream. Users must ensure that their login credentials are not shared, disclosed, or used by unauthorized persons. Users must comply with all applicable laws, internal policies, and regulatory requirements governing document handling. Users are responsible for ensuring that their document-related activities align with company data protection and compliance standards. Any misuse of the DocStream, including unauthorized access, data breaches or policy violations, may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment or other legal consequences.

8. Data Sharing and Disclosure

All documents and content within the Document Stream remain the exclusive property of the Company. CDC may share user data with internal departments (e.g., IT, Procurement, Finance) to support the operation and maintenance of DocStream. CDC may engage third-party service providers to support development, hosting, and security of DocStream.

9. User Rights

Users have the following rights regarding their personal data:

  • Access their personal data.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Request deletion of personal data under specific conditions.
  • Request restriction of data processing under certain conditions.
  • Object to the processing of personal data for specific purposes.
  • Request a copy of personal data in a commonly used format.
  • Withdraw consent for data processing where applicable.
  • Submit complaints to the relevant data protection authority.

10. Data Destruction

When personal data is no longer required, CDC will destroy it using secure methods, such as shredding or secure data wiping. Data will be retained in accordance with applicable legislation.

11. Data Security and Privacy

CDC will take reasonable measures to protect the security and privacy of user data. Technical and administrative safeguards, including access controls, encryption, and audit logging, will be implemented to protect personal data. While CDC takes all reasonable precautions to protect data, users acknowledge that no system can be entirely secure, and CDC is not liable for data breaches beyond its control.

12. Cookie Policy

CDC may use cookies to track user activity and improve portal performance. Cookies help identify and recognize users, track preferences, and enhance portal functionality. Users can control cookies through their browser settings.

13. Liability and Indemnity

CDC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Portal. Users agree to indemnify and hold CDC harmless from any claims or damages resulting from their use of the Portal.

14. Amendments

CDC may revise these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy to reflect changes in portal functionality, operational needs, or applicable legal requirements. Users will be notified of any significant changes at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Portal implies acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Entire Agreement

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and CDC regarding the use of DocStream.

16. Intellectual Property & Ownership

All documents and content within the DocStream remain the exclusive property of the Company. Unauthorized use, reproduction or external distribution of company documents is strictly prohibited.
